* 2nd Shift position, exact shift times based on location (Monday- Friday)
-3:00pm-11:30pm, Full Time 12-Month
-4:00pm-8:00pm, Part Time 12-Month
We are looking for a candidate who will take pride in their work, keeping our schools SAFE and CLEAN for our students and staff. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. They will have the great physical endurance to cover areas and duties assigned. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative in custodial maintenance jobs.

WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR US: can include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Strip & Wax classroom & Hallways
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets, clean chalkboards and empties pencil sharpeners.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Picks up refuse from school grounds
- Secures building.
- Adheres to all safety rules for handling and disposing of cleaning agents; including universal precautions and proper use of personal protection equipment. Individual is required to be familiar and follow guidelines for the use of safety equipment when operating power equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands or arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.
