Chichester School District is looking for a Maintenance Class B Employee to join our team!

We are looking for a candidate who will take pride in their work, keeping our schools SAFE and CLEAN for our students and staff. The ideal candidate will be experienced in maintenance and repair work for the care and up-keep of the schools. They will have the great physical endurance to cover areas and duties assigned. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative in maintenance jobs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands or arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.

Salary Level:              As per current AFSCME contract:
